LCWW’s “I’m the BEST” Celebration Brings Together Music, Literature and Lifelong Relationships in Lucknow

Lucknow: Lucknow Connection Worldwide (LCWW) hosted its grand three-in-one celebration, “I’m the BEST,” at Mandapam Hall, Venetian Garden, Lucknow, drawing nearly 150 members for an evening filled with music, literature, recognition and fellowship. The event, held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., featured the fifth season of the “I’m the BEST” Singing Contest, the launch of LCWW’s travel anthology Avismaraniya Yatra-Vrittant (Unforgettable Travelogues), prize distribution ceremonies, and celebrations of members’ birthdays and wedding anniversaries.

Addressing the gathering, LCWW Founder Sunil Mishra described the organization as a continuing journey dedicated to nurturing talent, encouraging creativity and strengthening social bonds. He noted that such initiatives provide a meaningful platform for members to showcase their abilities while spreading positivity within society.

The event was conceptualized and planned by LCWW Senior Administrators Anil Shukla and Shoaib Qureshi, and organized under the leadership of Dr. Rajiv Saxena with guidance from Dr. Vishwas Verma, Kailash Kumar Srivastava, and Madhu Srivastava.

The programme was inaugurated by former Lucknow High Court judges Justice Sudhir Kumar Saxena and Justice Rakesh Srivastava. Distinguished guests included Dr. Timsel Masood, Professor at Columbia University, along with Uma Trigunayat, Manoj Srivastava, Vinoo Chadha, Archana Satish, Ragini Srivastava, and several other eminent personalities.

Singing Contest Showcases Musical Talent

The highlight of the evening was the opening round of “I’m the BEST” Singing Contest Season-5, which attracted participants from Lucknow and various other cities. Thirty contestants performed before guests and members in the first preliminary episode. The competition will continue over the next four months, culminating in a grand finale scheduled for October 2026 in Lucknow.

The contest segment was directed by Dr. Vishwas Verma, while Naveen Kohli, Rachna Mishra, and Tripti Pandey served as hosts. Esteemed members of the music fraternity, including Padma Gidwani, Nimisha Sonkar, and Neema Pant, attended the programme. Acclaimed singers Pradeep Ali Sahab and Akanksha Singh evaluated the performances as judges.

Musical presentations by Dr. Vishwas Verma, Akanksha Singh, and Ravikar Saxena added further vibrancy to the event. Performances such as Dr. Verma’s rendition of I’m the BEST, A.K. Manglani’s presentation of Chandan Sa Badan, Anoop Keswani’s performance of Ye Shaam Mastani, and Mehmood Alam’s rendition of Chingari Koi Bhadke received enthusiastic appreciation from the audience.

All participants were awarded certificates in recognition of their performances.

Travelogue Celebrates Global Experiences

Another major attraction of the event was the launch of LCWW’s travel anthology, “Avismaraniya Yatra-Vrittant.” The publication features travel narratives contributed by 85 members residing across Australia, Asia, Europe, North America and South America.

The anthology was formally unveiled by the distinguished guests. Winners of the associated travel-writing competition were honoured with cash prizes and certificates for their engaging and insightful travel accounts.

  • First Prize: Manish Kumar Srivastava (USA) for Mangal Grah Dharti Par
  • First Runner-up: Sunil ‘Satyavakta’ (Lucknow) for Meri Pakistan Yatra
  • Second Runner-up: Dr. Shriram Nath and Dr. Lakshmi Nath (Australia) for 7 Continents

Special Recognition Awards:

  • Barkha Singh for Mukteshwar – Ek Maun Samvad
  • Anoop Kumar Srivastava for Andaman Nicobar – Ek Samudrik Saundarya

Celebrating Milestones and Togetherness

The third segment of the programme focused on celebrating members’ birthdays and wedding anniversaries. The occasions were observed with warmth and traditional enthusiasm, reinforcing the sense of community that has become a hallmark of LCWW events.

This segment was coordinated by Madhu Srivastava and Co-Head Sandhya Vijendra.

The organizers acknowledged the contributions of Vinod Srivastava, Pradeep Shukla, Anil Shukla (Jr.), Rachna Mishra, Tripti Pandey, Chitra Venkataraman, Kavita Mishra, Dr. Anamika Gupta Suri, and the entire LCWW team for ensuring the event’s success.

The evening concluded on a celebratory note, reflecting LCWW’s enduring commitment to promoting talent, literary expression, cultural engagement and meaningful human connections among its members across the world.
